Trans-atlantic Advertising Project

In the pursuit of fun and education in the same fleeting moment, Seymour Elementary (USA) and Ysgol Llanddulas, Wales (UK) have embarked on a joint internet project based around the themes of advertising and digital imagery.

• THE PLAN
• Each school forms 10 teams of advertising boffins
• Each team produces 1 idea for a new product
• Each team writes a brief description of the product in advertspeak
• Each team of boffins then takes a digital photo of one of their team in a 'potentially useful pose'
• Photos and descriptions are then swapped with the other country by email
• The receiving team have the task of using the digital photo to produce an advertising image
• They also have to come up with an appropriate name for the product
