TO THE LANDFILL SITE!

  • The Landfill site lies to the south of Llanddulas village.

  • It is that big that you could fit 25 football pitches on it.

  • The site takes about 165,000 tonnes of waste per year.

  • It was originally a limestone quarry and quarrying in the area dates  back to the 1830s.

This is a tanker which is taking the leachate ( dirty water) from the site to Stoke-on-Trent.
