WHAT DO MINISTERS DO ALL WEEK?!

In September 2001, Rev. Graham Peacock came to talk to Years 5 and 6 about what Methodist Ministers do. We asked him lots of questions. Here is what he had to say!
 Kelly Do you enjoy being a minister?
 Reverend Peacock Yes I do.
 Paris  If you had to give up your job what would you do?
 Reverend Peacock I would be a Chaplin for a rock band
 Kirsty  How many people come to your three churches in a year?
 Reverend Peacock 5720 people 
 Charlotte   How did you become a priest?
 Reverend Peacock I went through college and learnt how to be a priest for 2 years .
 Lauren Do you get six days off?
 Reverend Peacock No only 1 day a week 70 hours a week.
 Samantha Do you go to different schools and churches ?
 Reverend Peacock yes I do  go to different schools and churches
 Hannah Have you ever completed  reading the Bible ? 
 Reverend Peacock No, but I've read bits 
 Rachel  Have you always wanted to be a Minister?
 Reverend Peacock No, first I wanted to be a policeman then I wanted to be a train driver and then I wanted to help the poor and became a Minister
 Kerry  How many times do you pray a day?
 Reverend Peacock At least 3 times a day 
 Emily What   do you like about  a minister? 
 Reverend Peacock I do not have to pay my bills and I like people.
Johnny Why  do you wear black ?
 Reverend Peacock Because it is  the traditional colour for Clergy.
 Christopher  How did you become a Minister?
 Reverend Peacock I was interviewed by the Church and then went to College
Lee Do you have a cross on your tie?
 Reverend Peacock What tie?
Catheryn How many days off do you have in a month?
 Reverend Peacock About 5
 Aarron how many wedding do you do a year? 
 Reverend Peacock About 3 or 4
Lauren What do you do on your six days of?
 Reverend Peacock I work six or seven days a week
