Sports..... you either love sport at school (if you are Arnold Swartzeneger) or you hate it (if you are a weed / have knobbly knees / a smoker's cough)

We did a survey on who likes sports and who doesn't in our class. As you can see (from the graph and from the class photo) we must all be Austrian muscle-bound actors ...or liars.....

Sports day

Sports day in Wales is in July - timed to cripple all asthmatics and hay fever sufferers like Mr Lavelle (He says this is why he was always last when he was at school)

We have a school field which we go to race on .We have three different ribbons to show what place we have come: 3rd place is green, 2nd place is yellow and 1st place is red.

We have lots of races and half of them are weird:

RUNNING	Why not walk or take the bus ...use a mobile phone if you are in a hurry
BEAN BAG RACE	Why would any sane person want to run around with a collection of beans on their head?
EGG AND SPOON	Since when did you keep your fridge and cooker 100 metres apart so you had to run between them with an egg on a spoon??!
SKIPPING	An embarrassing pass time practised by boxers and little girls. For clumsy people it's a shortcut to a broken neck.

If we are lucky we can sometimes get our mums and dads to race to instead of us while we sit on the benches and wipe allergic noses with tissues

If we win the most races we sometimes get a trophy.

We do many outdoor sports like : Football, Netball, Hockey and Rugby.
